What’s Good: Nagarjuna’s character, Samantha’s performance, simple climax with right emotional build up.
What’s Bad: The comedy in the Horror Comedy, the first half till the hero enters the scene.
Popcorn Break: You can eat your popcorn whenever there is comedy happening on screen.
Watch or Not: It’s a pretty average movie held together by solid performances by few, it is not something that is must watch, but if you have time to kill, give it a try.
Trade Talk: The movie has taken a slow start in the morning, the average reports are likely to give it a decent weekend. Where it goes from there remains a mystery.
Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is a horror comedy on the lines of many horror comedies that are coming practically every in Telugu. Literally, every scene can be foreguessed. Director Ohmkar, on top of the predictability, goes on lengthy comedy gags spree that doesn’t work that often.
The film picks up only after the arrival of Akkineni Nagarjuna. The interval bang is excellent. The second half starts on an interesting note and continues that way with occasional comedy breaks. The pre-climax and climax are highly emotional and well performed. The problem again is the predictable nature of the content. On the whole, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 offers nothing new but has an engaging drama.
The Last Word: RGG2 is another film that doesn’t have a must watch in theatre appeal.
