Santosh Sivan’s Controversial ‘Ceylon’ Release In April


After Urumi in 2011 ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan’s upcoming directorial Inam (Ceylon) has completed its censor formalities long back with a clean ‘U’. First look teaser of this film will be unveiled next week. Finally this film is slated to release in april through Lingusamy’s banner ‘Thirupathi Brothers’. Santosh Sivan who is currently working for Lingusamy’s Anjaan, starring Surya – Samantha has confirmed this news. Earlier Santosh Sivan made a film The Terrorist, about a female human bomb who sets off to kill Rajiv Gandhi. Ceylon is a bilingual in Tamil – English which deals with the life of a homeless refugee girl in the backdrop of troubles faced by Tamils during Srilanka’s internal war.
