Megastar Chiranjeevi Lucifer remake director has been one of the most browsed news among the mega fans and moviegoers.

Almost eight months back, Chiranjeevi himself had announced he would be doing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam political drama, Lucifer.

Chiru also revealed that young director Sujeeth, who directed Prabhas’ Saaho would be directing the film.

Later, due to various reasons, Sujeeth walked out of the project during the scripting stage.

With no option left, mass director VV Vinayak came into the frame and sat on the Telugu remake of Lucifer for more than two months but failed to convince Chiranjeevi with the Telugu changes.

At this crucial point, news came out that Tamil writer and director Mohan Raja will be directing Lucifer’s Telugu remake.

Meanwhile, on December 16, 2020, an official announcement regarding Lucifer’s remake came out and as expected Mohan Raja will be helming the project.

Senior producer and film distributor NV Prasad will be bankrolling the film, and its Telugu title has not been confirmed yet.
