It was in October that news broke out that Shah Rukh Khan is interested in Hindi remake of Tamil hit Vikram Vedha. It was reported that hero of the movie Madhavan approached the Bollywood star and showed him the original to get a remake nod.
Shah Rukh Khan took time to come to a decision. It is now confirmed, unofficially, that SRK wouldn’t be doing the remake. He is apparently not interested in the Madhavan’s part, but that of Vijay Sethupathi. But the problem with that is, it would be too close to Raees, and too soon, where he played a gangster. With that issue in mind, he has clarified his remake stance.
