The journey of Ravi Teja to becoming a star is no less than a film story in itself. Characterized by highs and lows,he has made sure he moves ahead with sheer determination and hardwork.
Coming from a non-filmy background, he started with small roles in films. He then worked as an assistant director and continued doing roles.
Sindhooram was his first film which later went on to win the National Award. He then was seen in films like Kshemanga Velli Labanga Randi, Tirumala Tirupathi Venkatesa which cemented his base as an actor.
The big break came with his association with Puri Jagannath and they churned out quite some hits together.
His apt relatable dialogue delivery, body language that exudes confidence and mannerisms struck a chord with audience.
He earned the moniker ‘ Mass Maharaja’. But there’s more to Ravi Teja and this was proved in films like-
#1. Shambho Shiva Shambho- The scene where he works for his love’s wedding will tug at your hearts. Such a matured performance from the star.
#2. Sarocharu: This movie was stylised as a class version and he played true to it.
#3. Vikramarkudu: Double role as a cop and thief had contrasting differences that made one fall in love with both the characters.
#4. Naa Autograph: The story of every boy in real life, about meeting people and finally understanding life as it should be.
#5. Raja The Great: As a blind but trained modern age warrior, how he rescues a woman whose dad once helped him is amazing.
With subtle performances, he has proved he is capable of much more. He has played true to the character assigned to him everytime.
With Touch Chesi Chudu in the offing, we wish it brings out hte best in him yet again.
