With the music released it looks like the long in the making Rajinikanth film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ will finally see the light of the day. At a press conference organized for the film post the music and new theatrical trailer release, the makers claimed that the film cost around 125 Cr to make and compared it to visual effects wonders such as Avatar and Tintin citing the usage of motion capture technology.
That marketing hype seems to have made the people even more stringent as the trailer was ripped apart for its quality as soon it hit the web. Many pointed the clearly visible flaws in the animation some very jarring indeed and said that with such a quality it would be an insult to compare to those Hollywood production. Many felt that the makers could hype up using various techniques but this Hollywood comparison isn’t one of them due to the obvious slack of quality. That’s true actually, when a film has Rajinikanth starring in it one doesn’t need to go for such kind of publicity, don’t you all think?
