Billa 2 has beaten the Mankatha openings for Day 1 at the Tamil Nadu box office. Billa 2 came with tremendous expectations being the prequel of highly successful Billa and also it being a follow up movie of Mankatha generated tremendous hype for the film.
Billa 2 however carries poor word of mouth among the common audience and is likely to slow down after the stupendous weekend.
Billa 2’s Telugu version David Billa opened decently on Day 1 compared to the hero’s previous film Mankatha but has immediately crashed with the spreading of poor word of mouth.
